Howdy TASSD Friends:

The Texas heat is here and I can't wait for cooler weather.

It is time to register for our 38th Annual TASSD Round-Up March 9-11, 2012.  Our callers will be Ken Burke and Tim Tyl.  Our cuers will be Christine and Theron Hixson.  The location will be the Sterling Hotel, 1055 Regal Row, Dallas, TX.  The room rates are $89 night (1-4 guests).  Hotel Phone Number is (214) 634-8550.  All dancing will be at the hotel.  Registration forms are available online at TASSD.org.

We plan a lot of dancing, workshops and a trail out dance.  A tour of the Cowboy Stadium is also in the works.  More on the tour will be forthcoming.

The Lone Star Solos of Dallas will host the Trail-In Dance on Thursday, March 8th.  The caller will be Mike Bramlett and cuers will be Christine and Theron Hixson.

I want to thank Tim Tyl, Nelda Eaton, Dave Vieira and Brad Caldwell for calling at our very first TASSD After Party at the State Festival.  It was a great success and look forward to hosting the next one in Wichita Falls.

TASSD and HASSDA hosted a great After Party at the NSDC in Detroit.  We had a lot of guest callers and want to send a special thank you to Nelda Eaton, Skip Gates and Vernon Jones for being there for us.
