Hello my square dancing friends.  I want to welcome you to the Fall issue of "A Single Voice".  This newsletter is about square dancing in the great state of Texas, not only single square dancing but dances that all dancers may be interested in attending.

We have a new Southeast Vice President - Curtis Linscomb of Port Arthur.  Thank you, Curtis for volunteering to take this position.

Many of our members were at the TSFSRD State Convention in Galveston; we all had a great time dancing on the beach; still trying to get all of the sand out of my toes.

Our Trail-End Dance at the 59th National Convention in Louisville, KY was a great success.  I want to thank Nelson Watkins for rounding up all those wonderful callers.  Nelson was a life saver to me and the dance would not have made it without him.
